Generation Queer is a signature program of Queer life at USC. Every year when we're looking forward to the upcoming year's programs and projects, Queer students are invited to participate in a weekend retreat of leadership training and community building. The purpose of this retreat is to get students thinking about the opportunities to shape their experience and the experience of other Queer students through active student leadership roles. 

 

The retreat this year will focus on the work of cultivating a harmonious relationship of personal Queer identity to community. Sound like a big topic? Good! This year's retreat will be held at the USC Wrigley Institute on Catalina Island and we will be incorporating the natural environment of Catalina to better understand our own relationship to each other. Activites on the island will include things like snorkeling, nature hikes, and even kayaking!
